Connor Todd Sherrod, age 25, of Rockwall, TX, passed away May 14, 2022. He was born May 1, 1997, in Dallas, TX, to Robert Todd Sherrod and Amy Elizabeth (Holy) Sherrod. Connor graduated in the Texas A&M Class of 2019, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, Connor accepted a position at Burns & McDonnell as an Assistant Electrical Engineer in Fort Worth, TX.

Connor is survived by son: Bradley Todd Sherrod; parents: Robert Todd and Amy Elizabeth Sherrod; brothers: Kyle Sherrod and Sam Sherrod; grandmother: Barbara Holy; aunts: Cathy Homesley & husband John, Therese Stephens, Lori Morrow, and Meg Rawson & husband Brian; uncles: David Holy & wife Lori, and Steve Holy & wife Christy; cousins: Ben Homesley & wife Patricia, Lauren Homesley, Camden Scofield, Henry & Anna Holy, Luke Stephens & wife Megan, Preston Morrow & wife Chandler, Ryan Morrow, Garin Morrow, Reese & Charlie Rawson, Ava & Ella Holy; and Emmett, Olivia & Lucy Homesley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry Holy, Jo Ann Sherrod, and Joe Ed Sherrod & wife Mary Alice Sherrod; and uncles: Danny Holy and Matt Stephens.

Connor was an amazing son who loved Bradley, his brothers, family, and friends. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, games, and geographical challenges. Connor’s life was an immeasurable gift to those who knew and loved him. He was loved deeply by so many. His presence will be missed immensely, until we meet again.

A celebration of Connor's life will be held 11:00 am on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX 75087. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home prior to the service.
