Angela Christine "Angie" Pahde Herald

September 17, 1966 - February 21, 2023

Angela Pahde Herald passed away February 21, 2023.

Angie competed in Gymnastics placing 3rd in the State of Missouri in high school; then moved to Texas where she became a Cheerleader at Cypress Creek High School.

Angela graduated from Texas A&M University in 1988 with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication.

She was very active at TAMU where she volunteered to be an Aggie Hostess for new football recruits, Little Fraternity Sister and active in her Sorority. She entered the Miss Texas A & M Scholarship Pageant in 1989.

Angie lived in Spain for 6 weeks during the summer of her Senior year as part of her advanced Spanish class. She loved Spain and the language and continued working on her Spanish skills until she passed away in 2023. International travels were a big part of her life after graduation visiting with friends in Scotland, Tunisia, Germany, Italy and many other countries.

Angie was a fantastic daughter, phenomenal sister and completely beautiful soul. She was unbelievably talented as both an artist and a writer, but most of all as a great listener and friend. She dearly loved her family and friends; and her Golden Retrievers were a big part of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Jan; father, Ted; and brother, Jeffrey.

The following poem was specially written for Angie by her best friend, Stephanie’s husband, Loyd Roberson for her Celebration of Her Life event:

Ode to Angie P

The cares of the world behind you,
You can rest in the arms of the Lord,
Finding peace and eternal serenity
With God, in one accord.

We will miss your smiling demeanor
And the zest which you lived life,
Joy found in your experiences
Living the moment with all your might.

In the adventures of your time on earth
We are thankful we played a role,
And look forward to sharing in heaven,
When we too, join the fold.

Today we stand to celebrate
What you were, you are and always will be,
A daughter, a sister and dearest friend….
For all eternity!
