Amanda Faith Georgakis 
August 9, 1980 - July 8, 2023 

Amanda Faith Georgakis (Parker) left this world unexpectedly on July 8, 2023 after a three-year battle with breast cancer. She was 42 years young.

Amanda was born to Linda and Ken Parker, in Tomball, TX, on August 9, 1980. After graduating from Tomball High School, Amanda chose to become a fighting Texas Aggie. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Journalism. She then went on to work for ExxonMobil in Houston, TX.

In 2008, Amanda finally met her prince charming, Ted Georgakis. After dating for two years, they tied the knot in 2010. All her life, Amanda could not wait to be a mommy, and Amanda and Ted were blessed with three precious children: Summer Patience, Scarlett Blessing, and Colton Ford. Amanda loved her children, and her life revolved around them. She raised them to love God.

Amanda was a Christian and attended Decker Prairie Church of Christ. She inspired many with her unwavering faith. She never met a stranger and was loved by many. Her sweet, fun-loving personality led to many nicknames such as Piglet, Illy, Illyopion, City, City Parker, A-man-duh!, Mandible, Opal, and Trixie.

Amanda is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Parker. She is survived by her husband, Ted Georgakis, children, Summer, Scarlett, and Colton, father, Ken Parker, siblings, Bliss Wilson, Amber Brittain, and Blake Parker, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 14, 5-8PM. The funeral service will occur on Saturday, July 15, at 2PM, immediately followed by burial at Klein Memorial Park. All services will take place at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM Road 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354.
