Connie Ray Arnold 
November 4, 1933 ~ August 6, 2023 

Connie Ray Arnold, 89, of Yorktown, Texas passed away on August 6, 2023.

Connie was born November 4, 1933 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late John and Ora Barnhill Arnold. He served in the US Navy from 1952-1957 on the USS Algol, a troop transport ship. Connie received his BS in Math from the Texas State University Masters in Chemistry, and his PHD from Texas A&M University in Chemical Oceanography. He was married to the love of his life Agatha (Aggie) Arnold for 68 years.

Connie is survived by his wife Aggie Arnold, daughters Kita (John) Scull, of Austin, Gina (Bill) Hart, of San Antonio, grandchildren Jennifer Keets (Mark) Rehme, Austin Miles Laird, Tayler Rae (Spencer) Serra and two great grandchildren Josephine Keets Rehme and Zia Rae Serra.

Connie is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack Arnold and sister Joy Jones.

Visitation 10-11 am with Funeral service beginning at 11 am Monday, August 14, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Reception to follow the service at the fellowship hall.
