Maroon Out shirts on sale now

2024 Maroon Out shirts and crewnecks are available to purchase online now. These T-shirts have been designed by the Maroon Out committee at Texas A&M – a student-led organization that works to raise funds for scholarships and traditions on campus. 

This year's Maroon Out game marks the return of the Texas A&M vs. University of Texas rivalry – or the "Lone Star Showdown," as printed on this year's Maroon Out shirts. The rivalry game will be played on Nov. 30 at Kyle Field. 

The history of the annual Maroon Out game goes back to 1998 when Texas A&M students plotted to intimidate their opponents during an upcoming game against Nebraska. The idea was so widespread among Aggies, it caused a brief shortage of maroon T-shirts across the country. 

Maroon Out has carried on as a tradition for over the last two decades with an annual Maroon Out game each year. The funds raised through shirt sales go toward supporting Aggie traditions, as well as current students.
