Remember yours? Fish Camp yells from 1980 to 2023

On July 22, Aggie freshmen will start heading off to Lakeview as Fish Camp 2024 begins. The Association is proud to support Texas A&M's extended orientations, including Fish Camp.

For decades, the Aggie students who are Fish Camp counselors and leaders have come up with yells for their individual camps, but also for the overall incoming freshman Class.

Here are all the Fish Camp "hump-its" or yells for camps from 1980 to 2023, thanks to research by Fish Camp advisor Carly Rice '13 and assistant director Andrew Carruth '04. Since this was first posted, Aggies have sent us the hump-its for Fish Camp ’94, ’88, ’87, ’85, ’84, ’83, ’81 and ’80!

We'll add the 2024 yell after all the fish have returned from Fish Camp, so they can learn it together the first time! Fish Camp 2024 spans July 22 to Aug. 14.
