David Kurt Heidmann 

December 30, 1972 - November 30, 2024 

David Kurt Heidmann, age 51, went into the presence of the Lord on November 30, 2024, in Plano, Texas. He was born on December 30, 1972, in Whittier, California, to Walter Johann Heidmann and Gean Trimble. He married Kimberlee Heidmann on August 29, 1998, in College Station, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberlee Heidmann of Plano, Texas; his sons, Walter Johann “Jack” Heidmann, and Charles Augustine “Gus” Heidmann; his mother, Gean Heidmann of Austin, Texas; his brothers, John Heidmann and wife, Amy, of Orlando, Florida, and Mark Heidmann and wife, Shanna, of Austin, Texas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his daughter, Lottie Heidmann and his father, Walter Heidmann. 

In August of 2023 Kurt was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease where the lung tissue becomes scarred and unusable at the cellular level. Kurt went into the hospital on November 27th and it was not God's plan for him to return to our earthly home. On Saturday, November 30th, 2024 he breathed his last and went into the presence of the Lord. Kurt Heidmann trusted in Christ and was a true disciple- understanding his sinfulness and his need for a Savior - not only trusting in the redemptive work of Jesus but dedicating his life to following Him. Because of this, goodbye is only for a little while. The promise of eternity with our Savior is real and our hope rests there. Kurt is now safely home with his dad, Walt, and precious daughter, Lottie. Every day since her death he longed for her and now his wait is over. Kurt is completely healed and complete in Christ. Praise God.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16th at 2:00pm at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas.
