Bryce Douglas Macdonald 

April 15, 1999 - December 6, 2024 

Bryce Douglas Macdonald, of El Campo, Texas passed away December 6, 2024 at the age of 25. He was born April 15, 1999 in San Antonio, Texas to Douglas James Macdonald and Renee Kristy Raygosa.

He attended the St. Louis Catholic School in Castroville and graduated from Medina Valley High School in 2017. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Double Minor in AgriFood Sales and Agronomy. After graduation, he worked for Corteva, an agricultural science and product company as a sales representative.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Renee and Neal Schneider of Castroville; father and stepmother, Douglas and Elizabeth Macdonald of Seneca Falls, New York; stepfather, Kenneth and Amber Allen of Canyon Lake; twin sister and brother-in-law, Kirsten and Christian Stavig of Castroville; sister, Kendra Allen of Castroville; stepbrothers, Jordan Allen and Jonathan Allen of Harrisonville, Missouri; grandparents, Desi and Grace Raygosa of Castroville, Douglas Macdonald of Syracuse, New York, and Sylvia and Theodore Papperman of Seneca Falls, New York; nephew, Isaiah Stavig; niece, Riah Stavig; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas. A bereavement meal will be held at the Braden Keller Community Center after the services. On Friday, December 13th at 5:00 p.m., his family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life at the La Coste City Hotel in La Coste.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bryce’s memory to St. Louis Catholic School or the Medina Valley Education Foundation for a scholarship fund in Bryce's memory.
