Cecil LeRoy Herren 

November 11, 1937 - June 18, 2023 

Cecil LeRoy Herren of Kingwood, Texas passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born on November 11, 1937 in Houston, Texas where he grew up. As a young adult, he attended Texas A&M University and graduated with his Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1962. After college, he went on to work for Shell Oil as a chemical engineer for over thirty years.

He and his wife were actively involved in competition water skiing in their earlier years and spent their retirement showing World Champion Quarter Horses. Leisurely, LeRoy enjoyed golfing for sport.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Ann Herren and his children; Gregg Herren and Robin Harrison. Grandchildren; Amanda Toney, Russell Herren and Clayton Scott. Great Grandchildren; Justice Herren, Titus Herren and Rowan Toney.
