Andrew Murray "Andy" Reither 

July 20, 1960 - October 24, 2024 

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Andrew Murray Reither, on October 24, 2024 from congestive heart failure.

Born in Torrance, California, Andrew moved to Houston, Texas with his family in 1970 and graduated from Spring Woods High School where he was a varsity swimmer. With degrees from both Texas A&M University and the University of Houston, Andrew led a successful career at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. His twenty-six year tenure with ADP began as a client service representative in payroll and where he later became a corporate trainer, an area where he excelled. A lover of music, landscaping, architecture, Broadway shows and cats, we will forever miss his warmth, enthusiasm and creativity.

Andrew is preceded in death by his mother, Lynn Smull Reither. He is survived by his partner, Daniel Ramirez of Rosenberg; father, Wayne C. Reither; siblings Pamela Reither Laffey and Michael Reither; brother in law DeWayne Laffey; and sister in law Marilyn Rowell Reither. A loving uncle, Andrew will be missed by his nieces and nephews Ryan Laffey, Shannon Laffey, Erin Laffey and William Reither. Andrew touched many lives with his kindness and generosity.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service to celebrate his life. Please join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from two o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon at Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home, 1734 W Alabama Street in Houston to remember our dear brother. Please bring your fondest memories of Andrew to share.
