Mark Vincent Henneke 

August 10, 1957 - June 14, 2024 

Mark Vincent Henneke, 66, of Cuero, Texas formerly of Gonzales, Texas passed away Friday, June 14, 2024. He was born August 10, 1957, in Dallas to the late Harry and Nadine “Dee” Henneke. Mark was a retired Park Ranger serving Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority for 41 years. He was the ranger at Lake Wood Park near Gonzales and during his tenure there he made many improvements to it. Mark was also an avid stamp collector and loved vacationing in Las Vegas where he could play slots and people watch. He was an animal lover who befriended wild squirrels and raised minnows and tropical fish. A man way ahead of his times, Mark had an all-electric car in the early 1980s.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Boenig (Bob) of College Station and Terri Henneke
(Billy Beckett) of Corpus Christi. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Miles Travis Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm, Monday, June 17, 2024, at Hillside Cemetery with
Pastor Jan Putnam officiating.
