Lorie Lee (Campbell) Smith 

June 30, 1957 - June 14, 2024 

Lorie Lee (Campbell) Smith passed away June 14, 2024, at the age of 66. Lorie was a dedicated, hardworking, and caring person. She grew up in Midland, Michigan, moved to Texas for college (Go Aggies), and finally settled down in Southeastern Michigan where she met her husband James through their mutual motorcycle friends and family. Lorie was a dedicated mother who was very involved in her 2 daughter's extracurricular activities, including but not limited to Dance, Pom and Band. She was in many different groups and had a very active social life with friends she gained throughout her lifetime.

She is survived by husband James Smith, daughters Josie Smith and Ellie Smith: Brother Craig (Pat) Campbell, sister in law Chris Smith, nieces Cally (Ashley) Campbell, Katie (Michael) Keen, Heidi (Frank) Purdy and Hannah Campbell, Nephew James Smith and many many cousins on the Cribbs and Campbell/ Mick sides.

A service will be held Monday June 24th, 2024 at Jowett Family Funeral Home in Benzonia, MI at 1:00pm with a visitation one hour prior. A burial will take place in Cleon Township Cemetery. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home.
