Roman Sterling "Tad" Waldron, IV

Roman Sterling Waldron, IV “Tad” of George West, Texas died peacefully on June 26, 2024 with his loved ones by his side.

Descendant of pioneers who arrived before The Texas Revolution, he was born in Corpus Christi on June 3, 1953 and moved to Houston, Texas in 1957, where he graduated from Texas A&M University College Station in 1974, and then moved to George West to manage the family ranch, raising cattle under his great-grandfather’s brand.

Tad loved the country life, all animals, and was a dedicated cattleman.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Perkins Crocker, of George West; his sister, Nancy Waldron and a nephew, Sterling West Waldron of Bulverde, Texas. He is predeceased by his sister, Martha Perrin and his brother, Foy Waldron.

Private services will be held at the ranch at a later date.
