Jackie Johnson, Jr. 

November 27, 1944 - March 17, 2024 

Jackie Johnson Jr., age 79, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home in Hurst, Texas.

He was born in Dallas, Texas and lived in Carrolton, Texas until he graduated from R. L. Turner High School. After graduating high school, he attended Texas A&M University. After college, he worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, now AT&T, where he served as a manager for 42 years. He loved his career and was a wonderful provider for his family.

Jack was an avid fisherman, and his favorite times were with his family and grandchildren. Jack was a member of the Brown Trail Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Neal Johnson along with their children Katherine Johnson Robinson and husband Hal Robinson of Keller, Texas, and son Michael Johnson and wife Joy Johnson of Bedford, Texas and five grandchildren Victoria Faurot, Kelsey Burlison, Brandi Burlison, Jake Neal Johnson and Jessica Robinson.
