Merrill Morgan Douglass, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2025, at the age of 90. He was a true inspiration to all who knew him.
A Life Well Lived: Morgan was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on June 8th, 1934. He was a proud Texas A&M University Aggie (Class of ‘56) and United States Army Veteran. He dedicated his life to being an Airport Planner for United Airlines, with his most notable work being Denver International Airport. In retirement, he enjoyed working on housing projects and spending time with family. Everyone will remember his infectious laugh when telling stories or reminiscing about the past. Known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, sense of humor, and endless wisdom, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jean, son, Steven, and granddaughter, Skylar. He will forever be remembered as a hero to his family.
Services are private at this time. Morgan will be laid to rest at a later date in the Aggie Field of Honor in College Station, Texas. Arrangements entrusted to Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home. For info, 847-359-8020.
