Ron Wayne "Ronnie" Mills
April 5, 1958 - March 28, 2025
On Friday, March 28, 2025, Ron Wayne Mills was reunited with his savior in his eternal home after a long battle with cancer. Ron was born to Nynvia and Ronald Mills in Canyon, Texas. He graduated from Bay City High School where he excelled in both academics and athletics. Ron then attended Texas A&M University in College Station where he made many friends and forged lifelong relationships. A proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘80, he wore his Aggie Ring until the very end.
After graduation, Ron found fast success with Trammell Crow Company in San Antonio, Texas, before going on to have a successful career spanning almost five decades. Commercial real estate was both a vocation as well as a passion for Ron. He had a brilliant real estate mind, and his legacy of projects is still visible across Texas and Mexico today. Ron had a warm demeanor and wonderful ability to mentor others, which he did as often as he had the opportunity.
Ron also had a love for the outdoors and often recounted fond memories and shared photos of hunting and fishing excursions with his brother, friends, family and children over the years. Always known for his toughness, Ron battled illnesses and afflictions for many years with grace and determination. Ron put his trust in the Lord, and often comforted worried friends and family by saying, “God’s got this.” He found peace and solace alongside his wife, Julie, working on their ranch in Bandera, Texas.
