Patrick Travis Conner 

July 27, 1956 - May 6, 2022 

Patrick Travis Conner, age 65, Springfield, Missouri, passed away suddenly May 6, 2022 in Springfield, Missouri. Patrick was born in Houston, Texas, to Reuben Travis Conner and Betty Jane (Hester) Conner on July 27, 1956.

He attended Robert E. Lee High School, Houston, Texas. He went on to earn a degree at Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas, and University of Houston Medical School, Houston, Texas. After college he worked for Long Beach VA, Long Beach, California, University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK, and Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was involved with the Alpha Omega Alpha, American Medical Association, and the American College of Emergency Medicine. Pat married the love of his life Karla Ford on June 20, 1981. To this union were born three children, Stuart, Stephen, and Reece.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents. Pat is survived by his wife Karla, sons, Stuart Conner and wife Michelle of Manhattan, KS, Stephen Conner and wife Jessica of Springfield, MO, Reece Conner and girlfriend Julia of Blue Springs, MO; 5 grandchildren, Payton, Charlotte, Owen, Aria, and Jaxon; brother, Terry Conner and wife Anne of Dallas, TX; nephews, Doug and Austin Conner and families of Dallas, TX.

He enjoyed health and fitness, reading the Bible, spending time with family and the outdoors. Pat will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home.
