Roll Call Tribute

William C. "Bill" Leuschner III '49, 79, of Calgary, Alberta (formerly of Victoria) died March 22, 2008. He joined Canadian Delhi Oil Co. (now TransCanada Pipelines) as a junior geologist in 1950. He became chief executive officer of the company in 1979. In 1981 he left the company and became an independent oil and gas finder. Survivors include his wife, Laurie; a son; two daughters, including Lizabeth Leuschner '77; and five grandchildren.
