Merrill G. Lechelt '67, 80, of Cedar Falls, Iowa died Feb. 15, 2007. He taught science at Holmes Junior High School until he retired in 1983. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Virginia; a son, David M. Lechelt '71; a daughter; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters.
