Roll Call Tribute

Archie C. Blackburn '32, 100, of Goliad (formerly of Berclair) died Sept. 30, 2008. He worked for the Texas Highway Department, was county engineer for Bee County, did structural design work for Sheffield Steel Mill in Houston, and was a structural design engineer for Texas Dow Chemical in Freeport for more than 35 years. Survivors include a son, a daughter, three grandchildren, a step-grandson, and three great-granddaughters.
