The Texas Aggie Bar Association (TABA) provides an opportunity for Aggie lawyers and law students to develop a network of individuals who share the Aggie spirit. TABA is a chartered Constituent Network of The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University.

Chartered as a non-profit corporation in 1974, TABA’s main activities include an Annual Conference held in College Station each year, an Annual Tailgate held before a home football game, numerous Happy Hours and other networking events held at various times throughout the state, and online continuing legal education programs that are free for its members.

At the Annual Conference, TABA recognizes a Distinguished Aggie Lawyer and a Rising Aggie Lawyer. These awards are TABA’s highest honors and are given to deserving Aggie lawyers for their commitment to A&M and the legal profession. Additionally, TABA announces the scholarship recipients for the year.
