The Aggie Women Network was incorporated in 2008 on the 45th anniversary of the admission of women to Texas A&M University. Today, we reach over 2,000 Aggie Women, and our members live across the United States and in 6 countries, and represent all disciplines and nearly every class year since 1964.

We formed the Aggie Women Network to give back to the University that gave us so much. Our mission is to promote the active engagement of women in the educational, charitable and cultural life of the university. We accomplish this by connecting women former students with current students, faculty and each other. Annually, the Aggie Women Network recognizes the achievements of women former students through the Women’s Legacy Awards. Our award for excellence in the faculty will be awarded Fall 2012, and we are proud to have given two President’s Endowed Scholarships. Additionally, the Aggie Women Network mentoring program connects women former students with current students in a meaningful and rewarding way.

The Aggie Women Network is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and a recognized constituent network under The Association of Former Students. We strive to enrich the history of Texas A&M for the benefit of all Aggies, because we believe shining a light on the contributions women make to the life and legacy of Texas A&M enriches us all.
