On behalf of The Association of Former Students, thank you for your dedicated service to Texas A&M and Texas Aggies. We sincerely appreciate the time and effort you invest in serving our worldwide Aggie Network!
The Leadership Council is the governing body of The Association of Former Students and the representative body of our worldwide Aggie Network. This important group consists of The Association’s Board of Directors, Past Chairs of The Association, the President of the Sul Ross Group, Class Agents, A&M Club Presidents, Area and National Representatives, Representatives at Large, the President of each Class on the Texas A&M campus, Student Loan Fund Trustee, the representative of each chartered Constituent Network, and Councilmen Emeriti. These volunteer leaders are The Association’s ambassadors to the worldwide Aggie Network.
In accordance with The Association of Former Students’ Bylaws, each member of our Leadership Council must currently be an active member of The Association. Active membership is achieved with a contribution to the Annual Fund of at least $50. Any member who fails to contribute the minimum gift to the Annual Fund, as established by the Board from time to time, will be inactive. Only active members have the right to (i) serve on the Leadership Council; (ii) receive all publications and appropriate program and activity communications; (iii) vote in accordance with the Bylaws; and (iv) such other privileges of membership that may exist from time to time.
