Ken Robinson ’93

Ken graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is the founder and CEO of CIS-Computer Innovation Services Inc., a software solutions and consulting organization. Founded in 1997 as a sole proprietorship, CIS provided technology-based consulting services to various clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Incorporated in 1998, CIS now services customers worldwide with its software and technology solutions. For over 25 years, Ken has specialized in the creation and implementation of supply-chain logistics software and solutions. In 2008, CIS was awarded the Aggie 100 designation as one of the 100 fastest-growing Aggie-owned businesses for the prior year (ranked No. 15). Also in 2008, he was awarded the Alpha Phi Alpha Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2022, Ken was a recipient and honoree of the Aggie Impact Award by the Black Former Student Network. Ken has shown his dedication to the Aggie Network through his service as founder, chair and board member of the Black Former Student Network and as a past board member of the Greek Former Student Network. Prior to serving on The Association of Former Students’ board of directors, he served as a representative at large. He has also served as a member of the Texas A&M University Aggie Spirit Development Council, the Texas A&M University Department of Computer Science Strategic Development Committee (College of Engineering), Nu Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the DFW Society Young Executives Club. Ken created Aggie Conversations, a series of online panel discussions for Aggies, with the goal of increasing understanding. An Endowed Century Club member, Ken and his wife, Ann-Marie, have six children, including Kenya ’20.
